Charles E. Geary focuses on district court litigation and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) post-grant proceedings, as well as drafting and prosecution of U.S. patent applications related to electronics, software, and business methods.
Charles has experience with a variety of software technologies including intelligent search, signal processing, image and audio processing, adaptive user interfaces, human-machine interaction, GPS navigation, electronic advertising, and financial services. He has also been involved in the prosecution of applications related to image sensors, displays, computer networking, and mobile devices.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Charles gained experience in the nuclear energy industry working as an intern both at a nuclear power plant and at a major vendor of nuclear engineering services. He also researched a radio frequency wireless sensor as a student researcher at the University of Florida.
