Charles C. Hagadorn Iii is an associate in the Seattle office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution and strategic patent counseling. He specializes in mechanical and electrical patent matters, including medical devices, mechanical and electrical systems, consumer products, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and clean energy technologies. Charlie also has experience litigating mechanical, electrical, and software patent cases in federal court.
Prior to joining the firm, Charlie was an intellectual property attorney at Seed IP Law Group in Seattle. He began his legal career as an attorney in the Atlanta office of Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner.
Charlie’s technology career began at Weyerhaeuser, where he conducted research on regenerated cellulose fibers and worked as a process engineer in power plant systems, recovery boilers, power boilers, and steam turbine generators.
He also served as a hydraulic systems engineer at The Boeing Company, conducting analysis, simulation, and testing of hydraulic systems and controls for the Boeing 787.
