Charles Hurley is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group, where he focuses on litigating a broad range of disputes, including in the antitrust and restructuring contexts.
Mr. Hurley’s notable recent experience includes serving as a member of the Weil teams advising debtors in significant chapter 11 bankruptcies, including Claire’s Stores, Inc. and Westinghouse Electric Company.
He is also currently a member of the Weil team representing Pilgrim’s Pride in several federal antitrust class actions alleging the major poultry producers illegally conspired to fix prices in the market for broiler chickens.
Mr. Hurley received his J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, where he was a research assistant focusing on grand jury indictments and other aspects of the criminal justice system.
He received his M.A. in Law and Governance from Montclair State University and his B.A. from Seton Hall University. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Hurley was a Judicial Intern at the D.C. Court of Appeals and a Staff Association Intern at the World Bank Group.
