As a shareholder, Charlotte K. Main is a legacy member of the award-winning Littler CaseSmart® team. Littler CaseSmart combines groundbreaking technology, redesigned legal processes and alternative staffing to deliver high-quality, predictable and efficient legal services in managing the defense of administrative agency charges and single-plaintiff litigation.
Involved in the platform since its inception, Charlotte was an integral part of the multidisciplinary team that redesigned the process of defending employment matters in response to greater client demands for superior quality and cost effective legal services.
Since Littler CaseSmart was launched in August 2010, the platform has been embraced by Fortune 50 and other noteworthy U.S. companies and has been recognized as one of the legal industry’s leading technology innovations.
In her current role on the Littler CaseSmart team, Charlotte leads business development efforts and has been instrumental in the platform’s success. In 2015, Littler CaseSmart experienced significant growth as demand grew by more than 200 percent.
In addition, she works to ensure that clients are seamlessly integrated onto the platform, which includes leading current and new Littler clients through a project-managed implementation process and knowledge transfer for the development of each client’s interactive dashboard and client dedicated attorney teams.
The proprietary dashboard, which is protected by attorney-client privilege, houses key data and documents on a company’s legal matters, allowing employers to monitor the progress of a single case or an entire portfolio of matters in real time. The dashboard also provides critical data analytics and valuable reports, which help clients manage risk and matters more strategically.
In addition to her active contributions to Littler CaseSmart, Charlotte speaks on issues related to innovation and has been published in the International Legal Technology Association’s Peer to Peer Magazine.
Prior to participating in the development and leadership of Littler CaseSmart, Charlotte maintained a successful practice representing employers in a wide range of employment claims, from defending agency charges to trying cases in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Charlotte joined Littler in August 2001. In law school, she was executive editor of the Loyola Consumer Law Review and flexed her former All-American college debate team skills as a member of the National Moot Court Team and the American Bar Association Moot Court Team.
