Chaz Hales focuses on intellectual property litigation, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyright issues. He has in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, including blockchain.
Chaz works with clients on the prosecution and litigation of patents, trademarks and copyright. He offers significant experience with issues involving cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and distributed ledger technology.
In addition to his legal career, Chaz serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Viterbi School of Engineering located at the University of Southern California, where he teaches a course that explores emerging blockchain technology. Chaz previously worked as a Systems Engineer for Boeing Satellite Systems in California.
