Ms. Chelsea Nicole Thomas is a metro-Atlanta native and grew up in Woodstock, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Psychology. After taking courses in business law, criminology, developmental psychology and the psychology of interpersonal relationships, Ms. Thomas decided that she wanted to pursue a career in law rather than psychology, focusing on areas where she could still put her vast psychological knowledge to use. With that in mind, she pursued her law degree from Emory University School of Law, graduating in 2017.
During law school, Ms. Thomas worked for several firms where she was exposed to a variety of practice areas, including criminal law, family law, business law, and property law. She quickly learned that her passion was in criminal and family law.
Since 2017, she has worked almost exclusively in the area of criminal defense, handling both federal and state matters ranging from simple assault to felony drug distribution. She has also recently begun taking on domestic cases, including divorce and filing for or defending a petition for temporary protective orders.
Ms. Thomas resides in Cobb County with her beloved Goldendoodle, Zoe. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts, watching Atlanta Braves baseball and SEC college football, and relaxing on the lake.
