
Cherryl Maranan assists clients in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. Prior to joining Fox, Cherryl was a Bridge Law Fellow with the Oakland City Attorney, where she performed legal research and drafted memoranda, advisory materials and motions to assist the Deputy City Attorney in representing the city in various claims.
During law school, she gained significant experience as a judicial extern to Judge Kathleen M. Banke of the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District and as an intern in the litigation department with the San Francisco City Attorney.
Cherryl was also on the Editorial Board of the Hastings Business Law Journal and won the Best Oral Advocate Award for Moot Court in Spring 2016.
Upon graduating from college, Cherryl worked in the Bay Area as a case assistant and client intake coordinator for a law firm serving the medical and pharmaceutical industries. She also worked in business development and marketing in the San Francisco office of an international law firm.
