The primary purpose of the Coalition is to provide information to the General Assembly on family law legislation, whether that is in the form of preparing legislation for passage, providing background information to legislators to aid them in proposing legislation or testifying for or against pending legislation.
While practicing law over the past twenty-seven years, Cheshire has taught a variety of family law topics to other attorneys by lecturing at continuing legal education seminars. The topics have covered a wide range from civility and professionalism for lawyers to complex issues related to support cases.
