Chris Albert is an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone. His practice is focused on assisting public and private companies with a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, SEC and stock exchange reporting requirements, internal reorganizations, complex commercial agreements, supply chain management, and domestic and international franchising.
While earning his law degree, Chris spent a semester studying French and European Union (EU) business law at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, where he was exposed to a range of regulatory considerations affecting companies that operate in the EU, including data breach, tax, finance, and international trade. Chris also served as the vice president for the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society, successfully managing the organization’s academic resources, alumni relationships, fundraising, and community outreach.
