Christel E. “Chrissy” Harlacher represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property transactions, including the procurement, assessment, registration, and management of trademark and patent portfolios. Chrissy assists businesses with identifying and enhancing the value of intellectual property assets, as well as portfolio management, due diligence and opinions.
Chrissy helps companies establish internal procedures to protect their intellectual assets, preserve long-term value and avoid conflicts. She also assists clients with the selection, use and registration of trademarks and service marks, drafts provisional patent applications and reviews licensing contracts.
Chrissy is a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a member of the Florida Moot Court Team. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.
