Christina Vinson was born and raised in Germantown, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in business. Christina then attended the University of Memphis School of Law where she was a member of the Association for Women Attorneys, Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, Memphis Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and the Honor Code Committee.
While in law school, Ms. Vinson participated in the Moot Court competition, won the CALI Award for Juvenile Law, and clerked for a Social Security disability specialist. She has practiced Social Security disability law since graduating from law school.
She has handled hundreds of cases at numerous levels of appeal, including hearings before Administrative Law Judges, Appeal’s Council review, and appeals in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
