Christina E. “Chrissy” Disch’s principal area of practice is intellectual property law. She is a registered patent attorney, and her practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Before joining Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Chrissy worked at General Electric as an intellectual property engineer in the energy industry alongside in-house counsel to conduct freedom to operate analysis, facilitate invention disclosures, search prior art, prior art analysis, maintaining a patent portfolio, and continuously engaging engineers.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Chrissy worked as an engineer at General Electric where she conducted aerodynamic performance analysis of gas turbine and aircraft engine blades using both commercial and in-house flow turbulence modeling software.
