Christina M. Lincoln is an advisor and experienced trial attorney practicing business litigation and catastrophic loss insurance. She represents insurance company clients with first-party claims relating to catastrophic losses, including fires, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, building collapses, and earthquakes, among others.
Ms. Lincoln advises clients across the United States and abroad regarding coverage and provides strategic advice under all risks, named perils, and builders’ risk policies. Ms. Lincoln also represents clients during litigation as trial counsel in both state and federal court.
Ms. Lincoln’s business litigation practice covers a wide range of matters, including claims for breach of contract, contract interpretation, tort liability (including negligence, fraud, and strict liability), breaches of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, alter ego liability, partnership disputes, and other related causes of action.
While at a previous firm, Ms. Lincoln also represented clients in SEC and AG investigations, alleged violations under federal securities laws and the False Claims Act, administrative appeals and corresponding tax refund requests, and general business disputes concerning contracts, unfair business practices, and violations of local city ordinances.
In addition to her civil trial experience, Ms. Lincoln has served as a Volunteer Deputy City Attorney for the Anaheim City Attorney General’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanors on behalf of the City. In this capacity, she prepared five cases for trial and pursued one to a verdict, resulting in a conviction for domestic violence.
Ms. Lincoln is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern/extern for three federal judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit (Hon. John T. Noonan, Jr.) and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California (Hon. Andrew J. Guilford and Hon. Oswald Parada). Ms. Lincoln also served as a Submissions Editor and Staff Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal (BBLJ).
