Christina Davidson Trimmer principal areas of practice are trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade secret law. She focuses her practice on assisting clients in obtaining, protecting, licensing, and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Christina counsels clients in trademark selection, availability, registration and protection.
She has experience prosecuting both state and federal trademark applications, conducting trademark availability searches, and analyzing infringement issues across a variety of technologies and industries.
In addition, Christina is also experienced in intellectual property (IP) disputes and litigation in federal courts, as well as before the United States Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Trial and Appeal Board has represented international and U.S.-based clients in actions concerning patent and trademark infringement, copyright infringement, trade-secret misappropriation, and breach of contract and noncompetition agreements in state and federal court.
Christina is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of North Carolina and Virginia as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Christina earned her Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, with distinction, from the University of Richmond School of Law. Upon graduation, she was awarded the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property.
