Christine Agnew Sloan has 20 years of experience advising clients on domestic and international tax matters. She is recognized as a Leading Lawyer, International Tax Review Leaders Guide, Women in Tax (2016) and a Recommended Lawyer, The Legal 500 US, International Tax (2016). Christine is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Tax Counsel and has served on Council and as an Officer of the American Bar Association, Section of Taxation.
Christine has served as the Chair of the Firm’s North America Tax Planning and Transactions group. She is the Co-Chair of the Firm’s 385 Task Force and a member of the Firm’s Tax Reform Task Force. Christine co-authors the leading consolidated return treatise titled, “Federal Income Taxation of Corporations Filing Consolidated Returns”.
Christine has over 20 years of experience advising clients on a broad spectrum of domestic and international tax issues facing companies engaged in complex mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations, including post-acquisition and pre-disposition restructurings.
In addition, she routinely advises on supply chain, repatriation and foreign tax credit planning. She represents clients on audit and in connection with securing private letter rulings and pre-filing agreements.
Christine regularly speaks at national conferences and client seminars on current corporate and partnership tax issues. She is a contributor to various journals, including Tax Notes International and Journal of Passthrough Entities.
