Christine I. Nam is an associate in the Litigation Department, and a member of the Life Sciences Patent practice. Prior to joining Proskauer, Christine was an associate at an international law firm in both the Hatch-Waxman Litigation and Korea practice groups, where she operated as counsel in ANDA litigation and other matters.
Her main focus involved advising Korea-based and life sciences clients on issues pertaining to patent, technical, and litigation matters. After obtaining her Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley.
Christine continued her post-doctorate training at UC Berkeley and at UCLA, where she authored several peer-reviewed publications regarding molecular and cell biology, neuroscience, and chemistry. Christine also worked as an extern at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), focusing on biotech and pharmaceutical patent applications.
