Christine E. White is an associate in Venable’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group where she assists with document review, legal research, and witness, deposition, and trial preparation.
Chrissy lends her legal counsel pro bono to the Tahirih Justice Center, a nonprofit organization that helps immigrant women and children escaping gender-based violence obtain asylum in the United States. Ms. White recently won an application for asylum for a client who was referred by Tahirih.
Chrissy graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She holds a B.S. in Foreign Service, magna cum laude, from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Prior to joining Venable, Chrissy served a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Marvin J. Garbis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Chrissy is active in the Greater Baltimore community. She serves as a volunteer for the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) and participates in the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program, which coordinates and conducts interviews for first-year and transfer applicants.
Prior to law school, Chrissy worked for a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC where she helped organize and administer educational seminars for judges and legal professionals.
