Christopher Babadjanian is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Christopher has also worked with Lewis Brisbois’ Real Estate, Land Use & Environment and Public Agency & Public Finance Practices.
While in law school, Mr. Babadjanian focused his studies in business-related law courses, such as Corporate Finance, Income Tax Law, and Business Planning. Mr. Babadjanian also participated in a Tax Policy Seminar, where he authored a paper which recommended changes to the tax code aimed at protecting and educating taxpayers and closing the tax gap by ensuring proper allocation of government benefits, increasing compliance and transparency by discouraging aggressive reporting, and encouraging more civic involvement in the legislative process with regards to taxation in an effort to foster a more favorable opinion of the IRS and taxes generally.
Mr. Babadjanian also had the unique opportunity while in Law School to spend a semester studying at the internationally acclaimed Hong Kong University, where he was introduced to the structural complexities that intertwine the systems of administrative, civil, criminal and other sources of law within China, Asia, and throughout the international business community.
As part of this international program, Mr. Babadjanian participated in a Comparative Constitutional Law Theories roundtable seminar, wherein students from western and east-Asian countries examined constitutional law in a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois as an associate, Christopher participated in their Summer Associate Program. Christopher also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frank DeArmon Whitney, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
