
Christopher Kelly is the practice group leader at Holland & Knight LLP New York Litigation Practice Group. Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Kelly was the Director of Development at Regis High School in New York.
He has sufficient experience in the defense of toxic-tort, mass-tort and complex commercial claims. He defends different airlines, manufacturer s and insurers throughout the U.S. and is currently representing Air France in multi district litigation over accident at the mid-Atlantic.
He has handled cases of accidents resulting from fuel exhaustion, passenger claims of emergency landings, airport construction contract. He was lead counsel in defense of the U.S. litigation against Air Transat for A330 incident in Azores.
He has handled cases with fuel starvation and state attorney general investigations into the conduct of airlines. He was the lead counsel in the successful case of Air France against Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Kelly has represented and negotiated many successful resolutions with aviation equipment lessor and guarantors. He has represented many clients across the U.S. as lead and trial counsel in general commercial litigation, class action litigation, multi district litigation, environmental litigation and product liability. He was a lead counsel for JetBlue Airways. Mr. Kelly is an experienced aviation lawyer.
