Christopher J. Moore

Christopher J. Moore joined the firm in 1989 upon graduating magna cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law. Mr. Moore entered the legal practice having spent over 10 years as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Idaho.

Mr. Moore is licensed to practice in Idaho and Washington. He maintains a practice primarily focused on advising individuals and companies about legal opportunities for wealth creation, management and preservation.

Mr. Moore’s advising practice includes real property transactions, estate planning, probate, trust creation and elder law, as well as business formation, development and advising.

Mr. Moore holds several accreditations and distinctions recognizing his skill in that practice. He is an Accredited Estate Planner® and holds an Estate Planning Law Specialist certification from the Estate Law Specialists Board, Inc., the only organization authorized by the American Bar Association and the Idaho State Bar to issue certifications in estate planning in the State of Idaho.

Mr. Moore is not only certified by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., he is a current director and the past-President of that organization. He is also a member of the Idaho State Bar, Washington State Bar, Idaho Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Idaho Second District Bar Association.

Mr. Moore also dedicates much of his time pursuing the interests of the LC Valley. He has recently spoken to various groups, including continuing education classes for lawyers, on topics related to estate and trust taxation, estate planning, succession planning, and Medicaid eligibility and recovery.

He is the immediate past-Chairman of Opportunities Unlimited, Inc., an Idaho non-profit corporation serving people with disabilities and is on the board of Trustees of the Endowment Trust of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lewis-Clark Valley, Inc.

Mr. Moore received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho in Business in 1975. He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in Idaho from 1975 to 1986, primarily in the areas of taxation and business planning, and currently holds an inactive license.
