
Christopher Aventuro concentrates his practice in the areas of Surrogate’s Court litigation, guardianships, estate administration and estate planning. Mr. Aventuro represents clients in estate and trust litigation, contested accounting proceedings, will contests, discovery/ turnover proceedings and various other miscellaneous proceedings.
He also represents individuals in all aspects of contested and uncontested guardianship proceedings in Surrogate’s Court pursuant to Articles 17 and 17-A and Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 Guardianship Proceedings in Supreme Court.
Mr. Aventuro represents the Westchester County Public Administrator in Surrogate’s Court Proceedings and also represents clients in elder care planning, including asset transfers, preparation of wills, trusts, advance directives, Medicaid planning, estate planning, estate administration, including preparation of estate tax returns and general litigation.
Mr. Aventuro joined Keane & Beane, P.C. in 2008 with several years of experience handling Surrogate’s Court litigation.
Mr. Aventuro was recognized by Suffield Academy, Suffield, Connecticut (member of class of 1983) for developing a planned giving program.
Mr. Aventuro has lectured on trusts & estates, planned giving, elder law and accountings for Lorman Educational Services, Suffield Academy and Our Lady of Sorrows Senior Group.
Mr. Aventuro is an active participant with Swim Across America. He has also served as a coach for the White Plains Youth Lacrosse League from 2005-2015. He is a former Member of the Board of Directors and a Member of the Development and Marketing Committee for the Westchester Visiting Nurse Services Group from 2013-2016.
