Christopher McArdle is a member of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Team. Chris’s practice includes all areas of intellectual property litigation and counseling, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation and appellate advocacy.
He has represented clients in patent infringement lawsuits and appeals in federal courts across the U.S., including cases involving generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, computer software, and electrical transmission.
He has also secured client victories in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Chris has lectured at Columbia Business School on topics including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret protections.
Chris received his J.D., cum laude, in 2009 from Tulane University School of Law, where he served as the managing editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and received the H. Martin Hunley Award for Excellence in Health Care Law. He earned his B.A. in chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005.
