
Christopher Thomas is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent procurement, client counseling, and post grant proceedings. Mr. Thomas has experience drafting and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications including responding to office actions, preparing appeal briefs, and conducting examiner interviews for a wide range of technologies. Mr. Thomas also has experience preparing non-infringement, invalidity, and patentability opinions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thomas worked as an associate in the Alexandria, Virginia office of an intellectual property law firm in its Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Department as well as its Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Department. Previously, Christopher worked as a patent attorney at an intellectual property boutique law firm based in New Jersey where he drafted and prosecuted domestic patent applications.
While attending law school, Mr. Thomas served as a law clerk in the Office of Unfair Import Investigations of the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., where he assisted in Section 337 litigation.
