
Christopher Kelleher is an associate in the Boston office and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Department. Mr. Kelleher focuses his practice in both labor relations and employment law, including complex and single-plaintiff litigation, arbitration, administrative practice, and employment counseling. Mr. Kelleher represents clients in many industries, including healthcare, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, insurance, and transportation.
As part of his litigation practice, Mr. Kelleher defends employers against allegations of age, sex, disability, race, national origin, and religious discrimination, as well as sexual harassment and retaliation claims on both an individual and class-action basis. Mr. Kelleher has litigated cases in both state and federal courts of appeals.
In addition, Mr. Kelleher represents clients in collective bargaining and grievance disputes as well as unfair labor practice and representation proceedings. Mr. Kelleher completed all courses which comprised Seyfarth’s Labor University and he is a certified member of the firm’s Labor Relations group.
Mr. Kelleher also provides clients with legal and practical advice on a wide spectrum of labor and employment issues, including advising employers on handling administrative charges of discrimination, complying with state and federal regulations, and managing internal investigations.
Mr. Kelleher has also represented multiple clients on a pro-bono basis in several legal areas, including corporate counseling, federal litigation, and immigration proceedings. Mr. Kelleher worked as a Summer Fellow at Seyfarth Shaw in 2014.
