Cindy Lin is a corporate partner in the Houston office of the firm focusing on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity offerings. Her clients include domestic and foreign companies, both public and private, as well as venture funds, private equity funds, emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs and management teams. Cindy works with clients across a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, oil and gas services, energy and manufacturing.
Cindy has experience advising clients in all stages of a company’s life, including structuring and formation, reorganizations, raising capital, auction processes and exit strategies. She has particular experience in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, partnership agreements and limited liability company agreements.
Most recently, she has assisted clients in the purchase and sale of several power plants, power development projects and oil field service companies. Cindy also counsels clients on everyday corporate matters, including corporate governance, joint ventures, blue sky initiatives, employment agreements and benefits, confidentiality agreements, noncompetition and non-solicitation agreements, and supplier and vendor agreements.
Cindy was profiled in 2016 by Legal 500 U.S. as a leading Mergers & Acquisitions lawyer. And each year since 2012, she has been named a Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly.
