Claire Bergeron’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters, including those arising under the Sherman and Clayton Antitrust Acts, the Antiterrorism Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Ms. Bergeron has extensive experience researching and writing dispositive motions, briefs and white papers, and she has handled a broad array of discovery matters.

She has also represented clients in connection with investigations and enforcement matters conducted by the US Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Ms. Bergeron maintains an active pro bono practice involving immigration law. She has written merits and amicus briefs filed with the US Supreme Court and the US Circuit Courts of Appeals, and she has represented clients in asylum claims before US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Bergeron was an associate policy analyst at the Migration Policy Institute in Washington, where she co-authored several key publications on US immigration enforcement, naturalization trends and integration issues.

She also previously worked as a Board of Immigration Appeals accredited representative at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. Ms. Bergeron is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
