Clifford Bordeaux is one of the firm’s founding partners. Mr. Bordeaux has over 16 years of experience in bankruptcy, transactional, and estate planning matters. Prior to partnering with Mr. Cohen, Mr. Bordeaux founded a law firm focused on individual bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
Clients and peers quickly recognized Mr. Bordeaux for his creative, yet practical approach to debt resolution.
Mr. Bordeaux previously served as in-house counsel to Net Asset Management, Inc., a startup software company providing software and advisory services to registered investment advisors.
In this role, Mr. Bordeaux drafted hundreds of contracts and licensing agreements, supervised contracts administration, supervised compliance with state and federal securities laws, formed the company’s India subsidiary, and advised the company regarding a broad variety of legal matters, ranging from employment issues to intellectual property matters.
Mr. Bordeaux also helped transition the company through its eventual acquisition by Envestnet, Inc., a publicly traded investment advisory company.
Mr. Bordeaux was also previously associated with a firm in Pasadena, California that focused on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and transactional matters. In this capacity, Mr. Bordeaux successfully formed numerous entities, maintained corporate minutes and records, drafted contracts, and counseled individuals and companies on a broad variety of legal matters.
