Clinton Jang

Clinton Jang’s practice focuses on technology and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on intellectual property and licensing transactions. Clinton has represented companies, from startups to late stage, in various technology licensing, research and development, manufacturing and commercial matters.

He also takes a leading role in IP due diligence in the context of M&A and venture capital transactions. Prior to joining Pillsbury, Clinton previously worked as an IP and technology transactions associate at a law firm in San Francisco and as a startup company and venture capital associate at a law firm in Silicon Valley.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE :

• Advised the subsidiary of a publicly traded Japanese conglomerate in its contemplated strategic investments and patent licenses in a U.S.-based battery technology company and a U.S.-based conductive film company and drafted related technology transfer and licensing agreements.
• Advised a Japanese diffusion bonding company in a dispute of testing and sampling services rendered by an English engineering firm.
