Cody Carper

Cody Carper is a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department. Cody focuses on complex transactions across the energy spectrum, including drilling partnerships and other joint development arrangements, the acquisition and divestiture of upstream and midstream oil and gas assets and companies, as well as oil and gas financing transactions.

He also regularly handles the negotiation of farmout agreements, joint operating agreements and gathering agreements. Formerly the Assistant General Counsel for a large privately held oil and gas company, Cody frequently advises oil and gas companies and sponsors regarding day-to-day land, marketing, drilling, completion and other operational issues.
