In 2016, Colin was named a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist by the Connecticut Bar Association.
In order to become a Board Certified Specialist, the attorney must focus at least 25% of his practice in the area of workers’ compensation and go through a rigorous screening process that includes peer review, participation in a minimum number of continuing legal education classes in the area of workers’ compensation and ethics, and passage of a one day examination.
There are only a very small number of Board Certified Workers’ Compensation specialists in Connecticut, and this designation places Colin in a truly unique and select group of attorneys in the workers’ compensation bar.
