Corey Leifer grew up on Long Island, New York. He attended the University of South Florida (“USF”) in Tampa, Florida, where he received his degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Leifer was a Dean’s List student and even received the prestigious Honors Convocation Award during his senior year. After graduating from USF, he earned his law degree at Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
Mr. Leifer began his legal career as a Prosecutor at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. Through this experience, he prosecuted thousands of cases including DUI’s, battery, theft, and numerous drug offenses. He also served as lead counsel in over 50 trials.
Mr. Leifer then returned to New York and became an executive with the National Basketball Association at NBA Entertainment in Secaucus, New Jersey. Then, Mr. Leifer moved back to Florida and established the Leifer Law Firm, which focuses on various areas of personal injury such as auto accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability cases.
In addition to representing clients with personal injury matters, Mr. Leifer is also is involved with nationwide Mass Tort Litigation, which involves individuals harmed or injured by defective medical devices and dangerous drugs. Mr. Leifer has successfully recovered millions of dollars for accident victims throughout the state of Florida.
Mr. Leifer is a proud supporter of numerous local charities, particularly those that benefit children, and serves as an active member in his community. Mr. Leifer lives in Delray Beach with his wife and two children.
