Corey Pollard is the managing partner of the Richmond office of Jenkins Block & Associates. Jenkins Block has five attorneys and six office locations across Virginia, Maryland, and Florida.
A graduate of the College of William and Mary and the University of Richmond School of Law, Mr. Pollard represents individuals in personal injury litigation involving Virginia workers compensation, auto accidents, medical malpractice, brain injury, and product liability.
Before becoming a plaintiffs’ trial lawyer, Mr. Pollard represented some of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers in workers’ comp and liability matters. He understands their tactics and uses this knowledge to help his clients.
Mr. Pollard’s practice is statewide. He regularly helps personal injury and workers’ comp clients in Central Virginia, Northern Virginia, Hampton Roads, Roanoke, and Western Virginia (Bristol, Big Stone Gap, and Abingdon). He also represents disabled adults and children in North Carolina and West Virginia.
Mr. Pollard has experience in all aspects of workers’ comp litigation, both at the administrative hearing level and the appellate stage, including the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
And he has handled numerous claims involving medical issues relating to accident, injury, and disability law. He has also handled state and federal litigation in all varieties of commercial matters, including pending litigation involving a gun manufacturer.
Mr. Pollard has obtained numerous six – and seven – figure outcomes for his clients. That’s one reason he has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine the past four years, as well as a Top 100 High Stakes Litigator, in the areas of Motor Vehicle Accidents, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Medical Negligence, and Trucking Accidents.
Born and raised in Newport News, Mr. Pollard now lives in Chesterfield County with his wife, two children, and dog. He enjoys golf, traveling to the beach, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
