Attorney Cynthia W. Sheppard currently practices in the areas of personal injury, family law, worker’s compensation and employment law.
Attorney Sheppard graduated from Connecticut College in 1989, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut in 1993, where she was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Board.
While attending law school, Attorney Sheppard published “Exoneration Clauses in Wills and Trust Instruments,” Hofstra Property Law Journal, Spring 1992, with Professor Robert Whitman and “Insurance Bad Faith Litigation, A Primer,” Connecticut Bar Journal, October 1993, with Attorney Robert B. Yules.
Since 1993, Attorney Sheppard has been licensed to practice law in Connecticut, and has actively practiced in Connecticut and in Memphis, Tennessee, where she resided from 1999 to 2004.
She has a broad range of experience, having initially practiced in the area of real estate and title searching, and gradually moving into the field of litigation, including plaintiff’s personal injury, family law, worker’s compensation, and employment law.
Since her association with Riccio & Beletsky, LLC in January of 2007, Attorney Sheppard has expanded her practice to defense of motor vehicle accident and premises liability claims for the firm’s insurance and corporate clients.
