Dalton R. Mott’s practice is focused on environmental cleanup and toxic tort cases and regulatory disputes; he also handles general tort litigation. He is involved in all phases of litigation including discovery, motion practice and trial. His professional background is in political campaigns and legislative work.

This gives him unique insight into public policy and the processes of governmental regulation, including the involvement of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other agencies in business operations and legal disputes.

He was the regional field director for U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ 2014 campaign; in 2012, he worked as the transition coordinator in the Office of the Vice President of the Kansas Senate, where he conducted legislative research and drafted legislation. He also served as the 2012 campaign manager for former Kansas Senator Jeff King.

During law school, Dalton clerked in the civil litigation division of the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, drafting motions and legal memoranda, editing and reviewing briefs for supervising attorneys and doing legal research. Dalton’s areas of focus were personal injury, constitutional law and administrative law cases.
