Dana M. Delk is a native of Columbus, Mississippi. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate degree in political science with a concentration in comparative politics and international relations and a minor in psychology. Ms. Delk stayed at Auburn for another two years to obtain a Master’s Degree in public administration.
During her time in the Masters of Public Administration program, Dana was invited to be a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society, and received the Award for Best Comprehensive Exam for her class. After graduating Auburn University for the second time, Dana went on to attend the University of Alabama School of Law.
At Alabama Law, she was active in the Public Interest Institute, the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Birmingham, and was awarded the Public Interest Award for her hours spent volunteering. Further, she worked with the Domestic Violence Clinic at Alabama Law School and developed her passion for representing the under-represented and her interest in family law.
