Dane Baltich manages patent portfolios of various domestic and international clients and assists them in monetizing their portfolios. He has been extensively involved in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in areas such as computer networking, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, mobile device applications, mechanical and electromechanical technologies, e-commerce, and real-time location services.
His practice also includes counseling clients on a wide variety of intellectual property issues, including the licensing of intellectual property rights and the infringement, validity, and enforceability of patents. Dane is co-leader of the firm’s Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology Team.
Dane is a registered patent attorney and a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida, where he served as a member of the Florida Law Review, received the Irving Cypen Freshman Scholastic Achievement Award, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Dane received his B.S. in information technology from the University of Central Florida.
