Daniel Chen is an associate in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on a range of privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity matters in the context of mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, services arrangements, and other complex commercial transactions.
Daniel also routinely drafts privacy policies and negotiates privacy and data security provisions of commercial agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was in-house counsel at DocuSign. In this role, Daniel advised on all phases of product development, product compliance, product marketing, and incident response; supported the implementation and evolution of DocuSign’s global privacy program; and lead negotiations of commercial agreements.
