Daniel Cheriyan is an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Buckley Sandler LLP. Mr. Cheriyan represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of government enforcement and litigation matters.
Prior to joining Buckley Sandler, Mr. Cheriyan was an Enforcement Attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). As a law student, Mr. Cheriyan interned in the CFPB’s Office of Enforcement, as well as the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection.
Mr. Cheriyan received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School (cum laude) in 2012, where he was a senior staff member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. He received his B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University in 2009.
