Daniel H. Cho is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s San Diego (Del Mar) office. Mr. Cho is a patent attorney and focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patents.
Mr. Cho has experience advising clients in a variety of technical areas, including computer hardware and software, augmented reality, graphical user interfaces, social media, consumer electronic devices, networking devices, medical devices, drone technology, and semiconductor technology.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cho practiced in the intellectual property group of a large law firm in Los Angeles, California, where he was responsible for a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patent portfolio management, patent and software licensing, transactional due diligence, and patent litigation.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Cho worked as a research assistant at the Center for Nanoscale Chemical-Electrical-Mechanical Manufacturing Systems, where he fabricated and tested microplasma discharge devices. Mr. Cho also worked as a research assistant at the Virginia Tech’s Microelectromechanical Systems Laboratory, where he designed, fabricated, and tested micro-preconcentrators for environmental and healthcare applications.
