Dan Reynolds is a transactional attorney and founding partner of Alpenglow Law, LLC. Dan has lived and worked in the world class Vail Valley since 2000. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his law degree from the University of Oregon.
Prior to forming Alpenglow Law, LLC, Dan was a founding partner of Reynolds, Kalamaya & Voboril, LLC, and practiced law at Garfield & Hecht, P.C., the largest law firm on the Western Slope.
Dan has substantial experience representing local, national and international clients with their general real estate, business/corporate and homeowner’s association matters within the mountain communities.
Dan’s real estate and business/corporate law practices includes handling all types of business transactions, including forming business entities and negotiating and drafting contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate; leasing; lending; commercial law; and the sale and purchase of businesses.
Dan’s homeowner association services include reviewing and drafting amendments to governing documents; reviewing and discussing the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act and compliance therewith; analyzing construction defects; examining and assisting in the collection of assessments; reviewing voting issues; and preparing meeting notices and ballots.
Dan is well known within our local community for founding the Vail Valley Young Professionals Associations, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a young, dynamic, professional community in the Vail Valley by providing opportunities in business development, community awareness, networking, and community involvement. Dan is also a member of the Continental Divide and Colorado Bar Associations, the Eagle River Watershed Council, and the Mountain Education Committee, CAI-RMC. Dan is a frequent speaker on homeowner association issues. He presented at the CAI-RMC’s Mountain Conference & Trade Show on how to handle a tenant who violates the HOA’s rules and regulations and CAI-RMC’s Mountain Education Lunch & Learn in Vail on how to prepare a budget for homeowner associations.
In 2010, Dan was named one of the Top Young Attorneys in Colorado and recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star. Dan has also earned the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award based on Client Review Ratings in the categories of communications ability, responsiveness, quality of service, and value of money.
