Mr. Daniel E. Budorick has a wide range of experience in commercial litigation including conducting trials in federal and state courts. He has litigated matters in the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Budorick has represented clients in numerous mediations and arbitrations on civil matters, including breach of contract actions, breach of fiduciary duty actions, commercial disputes, and personal injury matters.
Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Mr. Budorick concentrated his practice in the area of bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Budorick has experience litigating adversary actions, experience litigating claim objections and general motion practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
He has been involved in bringing motions for relief from stay to protect our construction clients contractual rights after default including the right to setoff, as well as the right to retain substitute contractors to complete contract obligations.
Mr. Budorick is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, and State of California. Mr. Budorick received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa, School of Law and his Master of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.
