His experience includes landmark projects such as the Wynwood neighborhood and the Faena District, which highlight his commitment to the revitalization of Miami in the wake of the Great Recession.
He also represents investors, lenders, and developers in transactions throughout the United States, including joint ventures, asset acquisitions and dispositions, mortgage and mezzanine loans, and distressed property investments and restructurings.
To help the next generation of business in Miami, Dan collaborates with serial entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry disruptors in a variety of contexts. He helped form an interdisciplinary group of Akerman attorneys focused on cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit in the city’s urban core and encouraging its development as a technology hub for Latin America.
