
Daniel A. Goldfaden was hired as an associate attorney at Levin & Perconti in May 2014. Prior to his hiring, Daniel worked at a plaintiff’s class action litigation firm following his admission into the Illinois Bar in October 2013.
In addition to his casework, Daniel is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. He also recently began volunteering with the Wills for Heroes Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides provide free wills and other legal documents to first responders.
Daniel graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2013. As a law student, he received the CALI Award for Future Excellence in Income Taxation and was named to the Dean’s List. He participated in the Student Legal Relief program and served as an Editor of the Elder Law Journal.
Daniel earned his 711 license and gained valuable litigation experience volunteering for the University of Illinois Civil Litigation Clinic, and also served as adjunct professor in legal research and writing for international LLM students. In addition to his coursework, Daniel completed an externship for the Honorable Denise Page Hood of the Eastern District of Michigan.
Daniel grew up in Detroit and attended the University of Michigan where he graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Economics. He now resides in Chicago. Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys reading historical biographies, attempting to cook, exploring different Chicago neighborhoods, and traveling.
