Daniel Hagan is a Partner at White & Case, LLP and currently heads the firm’s Energy markets and Regulatory Practice. Daniel Hagan is a Founding Member of White & Case, LLP Energy Investigation, Prosecution and Enforcement Team.
He had previous stints as an Associate at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer (1999-2002) and Dewey Ballantine, LLP (2002-2006).
Daniel Hagan graduated from Boston University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (BS/BA) in 1995. He earned his MBA (1998) from Seton Hall University and proceeded to Seton Hall University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1999.
Daniel Hagan frequently represents clients before various Federal and State agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
As a leading authority on Energy law, he is regularly called upon to advise and represent clients on regulatory issues across a broad scope of the Energy industry, like the Natural Gas, Oil Pipeline and Electric Power industries.
Daniel regularly provides legal counseling to clients on Energy-related matters, Project financing and contract negotiations.
