Daniel Hofherr is an attorney in the Business Law and Transaction practice group. He advises clients that are in all phases of the business lifecycle from startup, to growth and expansion, and maturity and exit.
As a business lawyer, Mr. Hofherr assists clients in matters such as developing internal corporate governance framework, admission and separation of equity owners, private equity financing, employee retention incentives, customer contract management, intellectual property licensing, and business succession planning, to name a few.
As a transactional lawyer, Mr. Hofherr is proficient in mergers and asset and equity acquisitions. From developing terms for the initial letter of intent and assisting in housekeeping and due diligence, to negotiating terms of a purchase agreement, Mr. Hofherr is well-versed in helping clients navigate through to closing.
Mr. Hofherr’s transactional experience spans a broad range of industries including software engineering, healthcare (e.g. medical, dental, physical therapy, elder care, and chiropractic), government contracting, and even precious metal plating and finishing.
As a counselor, Mr. Hofherr brings a practical solution-focused approach to the issues. Whether family-owned or investor-fueled, he approaches each matter with his client’s goals in mind, and provides candid timely advice.
