Daniel Reeves joined M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers in 2015 while studying at Loyola Law School. During this time, Mr. Reeves worked three full days a week at M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers while continuing to excel in law school, demonstrating a strong work ethic that the firm’s partners quickly noticed.
In 2016, Mr. Reeves passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, and thereafter became a full-time associate attorney of M&Y Personal Injury Lawyers.
Mr. Reeves interest in helping those who have been injured or killed by another party’s negligence stems from a personal experience. Shortly before starting law school, Mr. Reeves was a victim of a severe hit-and-run accident in which his car flipped over and crashed into a building.
Mr. Reeves remembers the pain, confusion, and stress that this catastrophic event caused in his life, and takes pride in knowing that he can now use his legal knowledge to represent those who have been victimized by another party’s negligent and wrongful conduct.
Mr. Reeves received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Reeves was accepted into the prestigious William G. Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program, where he learned how to conduct every aspect of a jury trial. Mr. Reeves then put this knowledge to use by litigating felony preliminary hearings and arguing motions on behalf of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Reeves was also a member of the Project for the Innocent Clinic during law school, where he investigated claims from inmates across California jails claiming to be wrongfully convicted.
Mr. Reeves was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and is an avid Lakers fan. Mr. Reeves also spends time on the weekends volunteering with Christian Legal Aid, a non-profit organization that provides legal services to veterans, the elderly, homeless families, victims of domestic violence and refugees.
