Attorney Daniel L. King concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business law, real estate law, and municipal law. Attorney King received his Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies from Providence College in 2008 and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law in 2012, where he served on the Student Bar Association Board of Governors and earned concentration certificates in both International Law and Business Law & Financial Services.
Attorney King received his Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from Georgetown University Law Center in 2013. He is admitted to the bar in Connecticut and Florida, as well as Mashantucket and Mohegan Tribal Courts.
Prior to joining Suisman Shapiro, Attorney King was an Associate in the Federal practice of Deloitte, a multi-national consulting firm, providing litigation support to the US Department of State on public construction projects.
At Deloitte, Attorney King was involved with all aspects of the Federal procurement process, contract disputes, and internal investigations. Attorney King also previously served as a Law Clerk at the Federal Trade Commission.
Attorney King is a native of Ledyard and active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce; the Board of Directors of Sofia Sees Hope; the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival; and the executive committee for the Jackson T. King Memorial Golf Tournament.
