Daniel L. Egan is a partner at the firm and focuses his practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, general business litigation and commercial transactions.
His bankruptcy experience focuses on the representation of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees, debtors in possession, creditors, and litigants. Daniel also regularly represents prospective purchasers of assets from bankruptcy estates.
His creditors’ rights practice has included the representation of large financial institutions as well as community banks and large corporate non-bank institutions. He has represented corporate debtors and Chapter 11 Trustees in agricultural and technology-based Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis in 1985 and his Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley in 1989.
Daniel’s broader business practice involves representing companies in corporate acquisition and sale transactions with a focus in seed companies.
