Daniel C. Sale is a senior associate in the Special Matters and Government Investigations practice group in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C. office. Dan’s practice focuses on solving clients’ most difficult legal and regulatory challenges, whether in the context of criminal, civil, parallel, congressional, or other sensitive matters.
He routinely advises clients on a host of white collar matters, including: healthcare criminal and civil investigations; the False Claims Act; financial crimes, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; Congressional investigations; antitrust and market manipulation matters; the securities laws; whistleblower cases; and transnational tax investigations.
Dan began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Bennett of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an Editorial Board Member of the Tax Lawyer law journal, and his B.A. in economics from Yale University, where he was a Division I All New England Scholar Athlete lacrosse player.
