Attorney Daniel Thomas Johnson has been a member of Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, A Law Corporation, since 1980. He has served as the firm’s Managing Shareholder for more than 15 years.
Mr. Johnson’s practice extends primarily to real estate purchase and sale transactions, commercial and ground leasing, subdivision processing, real property secured financing, and general business transactions and litigation.
Mr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1976. He also holds both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration, degrees he earned concurrently from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Marshall School of Business.
Mr. Johnson has been admitted to practice law in all state courts in California as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Johnson is active in both the legal and local communities of Riverside County.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, and the Desert Bar Association (of which he previously served as Officer, President and a member of the Board of Directors,).
He currently serves as an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Food In Need of Distribution, Inc., and he previously served as a Director for the Palm Springs Downtown Improvement District and a Board Trustee for the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House.
Mr. Johnson is also a past member of the City of Palm Springs Economic Development Commission and the Palm Springs Golden Anniversary Commission.
